Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliancy Workshop

ADA Compliancy Workshop LogoThousands of San Diego businesses and landlords are being stung by lawsuits, either for failing to comply with ADA regulations or for discriminating against handicapped employees and customers. It is extremely important that business owners, business managers, and property owners take proactive steps to avoid being a victim of one of these costly lawsuits. There are things you can do now that will reduce your exposure.

Members of the Morena business community are invited to attend an ADA Compliancy Workshop on February 27, 2007. The workshop will be held at 3910 University Avenue, San Diego, in the First Floor Community Room. The workshop will begin promptly at 7:30 am and end at 10 am. Free parking is available.

The workshop is sponsored by the City Heights Business Association (CHBA), the City of San Diego, and the Business Improvement District Council. Morena Business Association (MBA) members are invited to participate. All businesses in the Morena area are members of the MBA.

Guest speakers will include attorneys involved in ADA lawsuits, business owners that have been involved in these lawsuits, and consultants who will provide advice on what you can do to lower your profile against these lawsuits.

Find out the 40 things you can do in a weekend at a cost of less than $1000 that will reduce your exposure by 90%.
